Chunjie, or Spring Festival in China, is a major Chinese holiday when people travel home to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
Who was traveling during Spring Festival?
Two groups make up a high proportion of these travelers: college students and migrant workers.
In 2016, around 300 million migrant workers from rural areas were working and living in major cities around China.
Job opportunities and higher salaries attract many migrant workers.
Around 38% of Beijing and 40% of Shanghai's population are non-residents.
The mass movement has got a name: "Chunyun", or Spring Rush.
